Sunday Sermon Snack : Merry Christmas

Good morning, everyone! Merry Christmas! Enjoy this delicious sermon snack from last nights Christmas Eve service and have a great day with your friends and family.

He will use any person to bring us as the object if his affection. He was willing to sacrifice his son in order to bring us back to him. It’s a deep place in his heart to sacrifice for us. He wants to get into our hearts.

“But He was  wounded for our transgressions, He  was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

God came as a child and he was a gift for all. Jesus already exised in the heart of the father.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.”

John 1:1‭-‬2 NKJV

God chose to share a pre-existing son with planet earth. He was born of a virgin to save us and to live a perfect life. We are all born into sin and Jesus came to bring us back into a place of alignment as children of the most high God. He entered into earth as a human being. We were paid for by a human being. Jesus understood our value.

“Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Galatians 4:3‭-‬7 NKJV

At God’s table theirs always room for more. God is love. When love desires to be with someone he will do whatever is necessary to get to us. In God’s heart there’s an ache to be connected to us and redeem those who are under the law. We value ourselves based on how humans treat us and that is inaccurate. Stuff in life will detract us from our value and sometimes it’s within our family. Family means we’re back together again. The power of the Holy Spirit is just as strong because he knows our value. God wants to redeeem us and fellowship with us. That tells you right there what our value is. His death was not an overpayment. Don’t underestimate your value. The gift was Jesus Christ. God used a family to reach a family. God sees the process we’re in to show us our value. Many poeole reject things simply because they don’t fit with our perspective. Our lives need to be interrupted sometimes in order to see the value. The way we have been treated doesn’t give us the right to decide our worth. Jesus came to start a new family line of brothers and sisters.

“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to  be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Romans 8:29 NKJV

Everyone needs to hear they have value and that they have a purpose.

“And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Matthew 8:18‭-‬20 NKJV

Jesus didn’t come to build a realestate but to clean the human heart so he can live inside us. Jesus was born, lived and died because God has a place in his heart for us and wanted us back with him. Hrw came to make us brand new.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he  is  a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Ephesians 3:14 NKJV

He came through a natural family to build a spiritual family. He lives in us and through us. No one will do what we can do in our families. He wants to clean the temple of our hearts and have a personal relationship with us and bring us back to the father. God looks at all his kids with the same love he has for Jesus, a jealous and passionate love. Love others the way you have been loved. As heaven comes into you, you can live heaven out.
